I’m not a fitness or health expert, but taking care of my body has always been important to me. Today I’m sharing 2 things that I do daily to keep me feeling happy and healthy.
1. Drink Water
8-10 glasses a day keeps the headaches away!
I used to get headaches all the time when I was a kid, and I was told that it was a result of not drinking enough water.
Whether true or not, it stuck with me.
And I have made it a point to drink a healthy amount of water daily since I was a teenager.
Water not only keeps me hydrated, but it also keeps my skin clear and glowy.
It keeps my digestive system working properly,
My lips from being dry and peely,
And it’s great for flushing out toxins.
It also keeps me from feeling tired and sluggish.
Drinking water comes with so many benefits, which is why it’s my number 1 daily must.
I’m not a morning person.
When I wake up I move slow and think slow.
In order to get myself functioning like a normal person, I need to get my body moving.
Otherwise, I will sit on the floor and daydream about nothing.
Robs like to call this my “thinking position.”
But in all honesty, I’m not really thinking, I’m just sitting zoned out.
This is why starting my day off with exercise is crucial.
It sets the tone for my day.
When I exercise I know I will have a good productive day.
And when I don’t, I have to work extra hard at getting myself motivated to be productive, while fighting the urge to just lounge around.
Even Though I exercise 5-6 days a week, I actually don’t really like exercising.
But I do love the feeling when I’m done.
Because life is a thousand times better after I workout.
I feel motivated, happy, energetic, lighter, tighter, grateful, less stressed and most importantly, awake.
My mind and body always feel good after a workout.
So even though I have to drag myself into the gym,
I do it because I know I’m gonna come out ready to attack the day.
These are my 2 daily must haves.
